A Tribute to Paul Harvey

The Logos as God
The Logos was with God in the beginning; indeed, He was God. John’s depiction of Jesus as the Logos is multi-faceted. Truly, the Son of God is the Word (the English translation of the Greek, Logos). In context of the Greco-society, the concept of “logos” was that of the ultimate knowledge. Thus, the goal becomes knowing Knowledge. Indeed, by declaring Jesus to be Logos, John is stating that Jesus is the ultimate of knowledge and of Being (in being One with I Am), God of all and over all.
